Vancouver, Canada, Delivery: 2005-2009 Vancouver is the largest metropolis in Western Canada and operates the second largest fleet of electric trolley buses in North America. The South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority replaced the entire 20 year old trolley bus fleet with modern low-floor buses with electrical equipment from Vossloh Kiepe. Thus reliable and quiet, zero emission trolley buses will continue to be the backbone of local passenger transit in Metro Vancouver. In 2009 these eco friendly vehicles helped saving more than 20,000 tons of CO2.

Lucerne, Switzerland, Delivery: 2004-2006 For the expansion of its trolleybus operation, which has existed since 1941, the Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern (VBL) has ordered eight new trolleybuses. The new Swiss Trolley III in state-of-the-art aluminium lightweight design was developed by Vossloh Kiepe together with Carrosserie HESS AG and Rücker AG.

Fribourg, Switzerland, Delivery: 2003 In order to renew the fleet and improve the customer service, the city of Fribourg has procured nine duo-trolleybuses. The Swiss-Trolley II was developed as a state-of-the-art aluminium lightweight construction together with Carrosserie HESS AG and Neoplan. Thanks to this 100% low-floor vehicle Fribourg succeeded in continuing its environment-friendly public transport policy.

The bus manufacturer is Volvo Busse, Austria. The modern trolleybus is user-friendly and has many ecological advantages, like e.g. low exhaust, odour and noise emissions.
