Porto: 30 low-floor light rail vehicles

Together with Bombardier Transportation, Vossloh Kiepe is building 30 low-floor LRVs to be delivered to Porto, the attractive Atlantic town near the mouth of the Douro river. Measuring around 37 m in length, the vehicles feature four bogies all of which are powered. Just as impressive as the performances of the local soccer clubs are those of our vehicles with a top speed of 100 km/h and a powerful mean acceleration of 1 m/s².

Deliveries have already commenced and will be completed before year-end. Within an agreeable climate and well informed by our infotainment system, passengers will then be taken down into the suburbs to Póvoa (P line) and Trofa (T line).
